PIE is a digital mapping solution provider with experience in portal developments, data aggregation and map delivery serving both private and public sector organisations. We can offer a web based mapping application embedded into your website to serve, produce and display your own data overlain onto high quality interactive maps. We have developed our “second generation “ API through continual development and feedback from our customers and is currently used by National Government and Local Authorities to deliver a solution to their widely varying needs.

PIE currently collect, maintain the data and manage the mapping portal for Directgov. This has recently evolved to an online mapping and data mobile phone portal service. PIE currently surveys close to 120 cities/town centres across the UK as well as every London borough for disablity features. These features include Blue Badge parking bays, taxi ranks, petrol stations, accessible toilets etc. We currently work with over 470 local and unitary councils in a blend of data and information exchange and process thousands of data features and their attributes across a spectrum of public and private data providers as well as our own surveyed data and data collection processes.

We were chosen by Camden Council to create the My Journey website which aims to provide a user friendly web portal, that integrates specific information to assist journey planning for older and disabled people. The website also provides a medium for older and disabled citizens (or their representatives) to provide feedback; e.g. on problem areas affecting the streetscene, which will hopefully help to target future `accessibility planning and street design works'.

If you have data be it simple or complex or require a suitable API alternative to Google then contact us as we are experienced in taking third party data sets and creating a mapping portal for your bespoke needs.
