About PIE

PIE (Public Information Exchange) Ltd was established in 2002. With our printed and online PIE Guide maps, we are passionate about helping people find what they?re looking on a map customised for them.

PIE is now a  privately funded (EIS qualified) business from a range of top quality business associates and business angels.     

PIE - Publishing

Our publishing arm focuses on delivering quality printed maps to end users that are customised for specific driving communities and their unique needs.  We create and work with communities and will research the content of value.  We design and build new symbols for our maps and colour code them to reflect important parking rules and regulations. Whatever we do we are passionate about quality and getting the data we need that adds the value for our end user it is all going that extra mile and being creative in how we deliver something comprehensive.

PIE - Online

PIE has a strong technical capability, having built our own GIS based database for all site and parking related content as well as our latest leading edge interactive map and content overlay tool. 

Unique in the marketplace is PIE's ability to deliver dynamic animation on our maps such as Bus Routes without the need for any plug ins, plus provide the ability to draw lots of overlay content on our maps which are clickable and provide useful functionality and save clients re-drawing maps as things change.  As well as we provide a proper zoom capability, and a basic design structure that supports dynamically the different screen sizes, so if you have a large screen you get a large map area and vice versa.   Most importantly now is our ability to deliver the maps fast.

PIE - Data

PIE has expertise in GIS, surveying and working with niche communities to deliver parking and mapping content.  We store tons of parking and transport data that is kept up to date and distributed in our publications and in our online interactive mapping applications.  PIE integrates and works with various businesses and authorities that use this data in a beneficial process that adds value and keeps the content up to date.
