Meet the team
Freddie Talberg CEO
Freddie is an fervent entrepreneur, launching PIE in 2004 when he noticed the needs of motorcyclists were not being met. Freddie loves to immerse himself with his passion to make information on maps work for various drving communities including : people with disabilities, freight and light commercial vehicle drivers and motorcyclists. His vision for geo-referencing information to locations pre-empts Google's arrival in the UK.
Dinis Quelhas – Head of Technology
Dinis is our guru who strives to ensure PIE’s technology is up there with the leaders. Dinis has an in depth knowledge of agile project management methodologies and scalable and flexible online applications architecture and using this to good use devising solutions for our bespoke mapping projects. When not trying to solve the complexities of PIE's vision for the future, Dinis posseses a keen interest in horticulture and outdoor pursuits.
Mike Hudson – Data Relationship Manager
Mike has vast experience in co-ordinating events, and this fits nicely with his responsibility for data acquisition and building relationships. Mike likes a challenge and when he is not organising surveyors to access town centres he is researching new opportunities to collate information for motorcyclists, Blue Badge holders and the freight industry. Mike has a passion for cooking, getting outdoors cycling and supporting Leicester Tigers.
Patrick Barlow - Financial Controller
Patrick is responsible for managing the Company’s finances, focussing the team on our business plan and keeping the stakeholders up to date with what we are doing. When not immersed in financial matters, Patrick can be found cheering on his beloved Leicester Tigers, cycling or running.
Nigel Lockhart – Customer Services Manager
Nigel is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations here at PIE and manages Customer Services. There are a few that lurk in the office, but Nigel claims the throne as being "THE" Arsenal supporter with his own season ticket, and as a local league goalkeeper, often provides humourous tales of the weekend battle of wills on the pitch.
Hassan Khirayni - Software Developer
Hassan is the chap in the corner who quietly writes line after line of code to create our applications. One day he can be developing a client’s request to show cyclist information on a web site, and the next devising a system to show double yellow lines on an OS mastermap. Hassan always maintains a sunny disposition whatever the weather, and is most likely to be found out of hours on the tennis courts.
Adnan Khan – Principal GIS Developer
Adnan is in his element developing his and PIE’s capabilities using GIS. This can be writing scripts to interrogate our data, creating new bespoke mapping including the automated labelling of text to finding a solution to amalgamating complex sets of data long after everyone else has gone home. Adnan is a keen sporting enthusiast and loves Cricket, Squash and Tennis.
Stevin Jno Baptiste - Customer Services Executive
Stevin ensures the vital daily operational tasks are done. From processing orders to handling Royal Mail fulfillments and customer enquiries. A partner in a music recording studio and extremely talented producer, he often spends his weekends gigging up and down the country.
Bob and Sue - Fulfillment Team
Our trusted fulfillment team are certainly kept busy dispatching our customers ' orders. Located in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, they strive tirelessly to ensure our customers get a swift service. Keen to be an efficient and effective, they even work weekends - what a great team.
